Yom Chi is a family owned and operated Tae Kwon Do school started by our very own, Mr. Bain Jordahl. Training with his three children and seeing the difference it made to himself and his kids, inspired him to start his own school and give every student the same support system they had experienced.
Every student and staff member is considered family here at Yom Chi MARTIAL ARTS!
Mr. Bain Jordahl - 4th Dan
Mr. Bain started training in Tae Kwon Do in 2007. He realized his passion for the sport and quickly progressed receiving his first Dan in March of 2010 and his second March of 2011. Due to some injuries, he slowed his own training but continues to teach. After a few years of recovery and perseverance, he received his third Dan in December of 2015. He has been teaching Tae Kwon Do since 2009 as a Red Belt. Mr. Bain started the Dojang with the intent of helping his students not only master Tae Kwon Do, but truly master their own body, mind, and ego. Along with enhancing their skills, he hopes his students begin to value the mental aspect of martial arts which transcends the sport and helps them to develop in all areas of their lives. |
Ms. Natasha Stevenson - Red Stripe
Miss. Natasha is the heart of the Dojang. She spends her time greeting students, grabbing gear and answering any and all questions. Natasha works full-time as a dental hygienist and still manages to spend every afternoon at the Dojang. Natasha’s own Tae Kwon Do training gives her a great understanding of the type of discipline required to keep Yom Chi running smoothly and effectively. She is the contact point for many of the Dojang's students and is a friendly face ready to welcome all new and existing students. |
