Miss. Hannah Jordahl - 2nd Dan Miss. Hannah started training in Tae Kwon Do in 2006. She received her 1st Dan in the fall of 2011 at the age of twelve. She then went on to get her 2nd Dan in the fall of 2013. She graduated High School in 2016 and was instrumental in helping Yom Chi Martial Arts become what it is today! She left a few times to travel the world as a nanny and is going to be going back to school to become an Educational Assistant. |
Miss. Rylie Jordahl - 1st Dan Miss. Rylie started training in Tae Kwon Do in 2006. She received her Poom Black Belt in the fall of 2013 at the age of eleven. She received her 1st Dan in 2016 when we opened Yom Chi Martial Arts. She graduated High School in 2020 with her first year of Culinary school under her belt and enjoys working as a chef. She helps out when she can and was instrumental in helping Yom Chi Martial Arts become what it is today! |
Mr. Robert Aylwin 2nd Dan in TKD/4th Dan in Shotokan Karate Mr. Robert received his 1st Dan in Karate in February of 2000, his 3rd Dan in March of 2013 and his 4th Dan in April of 2017. He started Tae Kwon Do in 2008, and received his 1st Dan in the fall of 2009 and his 2nd Dan in the summer of 2012. Mr Robert is always available to help us out with our testings and is a great addition to our Yom Chi family! |
Hartmut Kaden - 2nd Dan Hartmut started training with Mr. Bain at a previous school and then joined him at Yom Chi Martial Arts in February 2018 as a 1st GUP. He received his 1st Dan in December of 2018 and was the first to receive a Yom Chi Martial Arts Black Belt. He persevered through a challenging couple of years and in June of 2022 received his 2nd Dan. |
Mackenzie Waugh - 1st Dan Mackenzie started training with Mr. Bain at a previous school and then moved with him to Yom Chi Martial Arts in October 2016 as a 3rd GUP. He received his 1st Dan in December of 2018. He now resides in Kelowna but anytime he is home for a holiday he comes to train with us and will come and help out anytime he's needed! |
Jan Korinek - 1st Dan Jan trained with Mr. Bain at a previous school and then joined Yom Chi Martial Arts in April of 2018 as a 4th GUP. He trained on and off, persevering through the pandemic to receive his 1st Dan in June of 2022. His sons also train and hope to join their Dad as Yom Chi Black Belts in the not too distant future! |
Theo McBurney - 1st Dan Theo joined Yom Chi Martial Arts in November of 2017. He trained on and off, persevering through the pandemic to receive his 1st Dan in June of 2022. He originally started with three members of his family and slowly they each left leaving him the sole member of his family to achieve a Black Belt. |
Parker Hargreaves - 1st Dan Parker joined Yom Chi Martial Arts in February of 2018 after being introduced to Taekwondo by her friend. She quickly excelled and a few months later her friend dropped out so Parker continued on her own. She has been helping teach classes with the Dragon Warriors since 2nd GUP and is looking forward to becoming one of our Instructors! She persevered through the pandemic to receive her 1st Dan in June of 2022. |
Sam Ross - 1st Poom Sam joined the Yom Chi Martial Arts After School program in September of 2017. The following year at 5th GUP he moved to the Advanced teen class and continued to train hard three days a week. He persevered through the pandemic to receive his 1st Poom in June of 2022. He will soon become one of our Instructors for our Padawan kids! |
Coen Morris - 1st Poom Coen joined Yom Chi Martial Arts in May of 2018 because his friend told him it was fun. His friend has since left Taekwondo but Coen loved it too much to stop. He persevered through the pandemic to receive his 1st Poom in June of 2022. He is hoping to continue on to become a 2nd Poom/Dan. |
Mack Beutel - 1st Poom Mack joined Yom Chi Martial Arts in October of 2017. His friend and his sister joined him but decided not to continue. Mack persevered through the pandemic to receive his 1st Poom in June of 2022. He recently moved with his family to Australia and is greatly missed. Mack is Yom Chi's youngest Black Belt at just eleven years old! |
